Eligibility - Little League Baseball

Eligibility - Babe Ruth Baseball

The date for determining a player's age for eligibility is May 1 in the current year. The player's age on May 1 in the current year is the age that is used to determine his/her eligibility for participation.

Eligibility - Softball

Eligibility for softball is not determined by age. Rather, it is determined by your player's grade. Players in grades 3 thru 8 during the current school year are eligible to play softball with the Rockport Diamond Sports.

Baseball We offer the following baseball levels of play.  Rookie Division. For players 7-8 years old.  Majors B Division. For players 9-10 years old. Majors A Division. For players 11-12 years old. Jr. / Sr Little League. For players 13-15 years old.  Babe Ruth U16 (not available every season). For players 15-16 years old.

Softball We offer the following softball levels of play.  Class C Division. For players in grades 3 and 4.  Class B Division.  For players in grades 5 and 6. Class A Division. For players in grades 7 and 8.

Please Note.

Rockport Diamond Sports does not offer T-Ball. T-Ball in Rockport is offered by the Town of Rockport, Recreation Committee. Click here to visit the Recreation Department website for more information.
